Alison Norman
Director
Alison is a CIPD qualified strategic and hands‑on HR leader who specialises in guiding tech start‑ups, scale‑ups, and SMEs, particularly founder‑led and investor‑backed businesses helping them through growth, transformation, and cultural change. She delivers tailored people strategies that align with business goals, helping leaders build strong foundations and scale with confidence.
With a career spanning Technology, SaaS, Digital Media, and Telecoms, Alison has led global People teams and designed initiatives that reshape culture, optimise performance, and enable growth. Her experience includes steering organisations through restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, embedding values and behaviours, and using people analytics to drive smarter decisions.
She also develops and implements effective employee communications strategies that build transparency and trust, while championing employee well‑being and healthy work‑life balance.Known for her collaborative style, Alison partners closely with leadership teams as both coach and business partner.
She combines commercial acumen with a people‑first approach. Whether rolling up her sleeves to support a start‑up building the foundations of their HR strategy, guiding a high‑growth business through expansion, or helping a mature SME evolve its culture. Her focus is to create environments where people thrive and businesses succeed.
When Alison isn’t working she loves to travel, is a big fan of tennis and rugby, dances in the kitchen like no-one is watching, and enjoys hanging out with family and friends.

Jane Bashford-Hobbs
Director
Jane is a CIPD-qualified HR leader with a track record of driving commercial impact across startups, scale-ups, and global enterprises.
From building HR functions from scratch to leading multimillion-pound transformation programs, she operates with equal fluency in the boardroom and on the ground.Her career spans a wide range of industry sectors, including tech, cyber, construction, media, FMCG, oil and gas, telco, and professional services, as well as prestigious in-house roles such as Global Head of HR Operations and Business Partnering for The Economist. Whether shaping strategic direction or executing operational delivery, Jane consistently delivers measurable results: reduced attrition, six-figure savings in sickness absence costs, and fully compliant HR functions built to scale.
With expert knowledge of employment law and a 100% success rate at employment tribunals, Jane is known for her pragmatic, sleeves-rolled-up, no-nonsense approach. She quickly diagnoses the people issues that erode profitability and engagement, ensuring that the fundamentals are watertight whilst advising leaders on strategic HR solutions that deliver commercial value.
Beyond the office, Jane applies the same precision and creative drive to property renovation, having transformed a number of homes.
